Rooftop Garden in Newport, Rhode Island, USA

Here is the rooftop container garden at the Headquarters of a non-profit radio station, WXHQ 105.9 LPFM, in Newport , Rhode Island. This is their working educational garden to promote sustainable agriculture and green living. They are trying to set an example in their community by collecting roof rainwater runoff and growing food.

We were visited by the "Women's Gardens Cycles Bike Tour"! Check it out...

It was great to meet these inspiring women who biked from Washington, DC to Montreal and back to learn about gardening projects along the way.
