September has arrived and it's time to start thinking about the fall harvest, wrapping up the garden for the year, and celebrating our second year on the roof - the garden itself, the time and energy volunteers and community members have put into the space, and the good times we've all spent together up on high.
We're doing this "country style" - good ol' fashioned music, a pie tasting contest, fresh food and drink harvested fresh from the garden), and as always, the rooftop garden crew ready to have a good time!
Sound like fun? Mark your calendars!
September 15, 5:30-8:30pm Harvest Festival at the Rooftop Garden
Invite friends, family and your whole posse (4750 Henri-Julien for those who haven't yet had the chance to come visit).
Finally, for all of you who think you make the best pie in town, this is your chance to put your skills to the test. get your recipes out and do tastings with your friends in advance because we mean business! our judges are strict and don't play favourites. show them they don't know from pie!
