Before beginning to work full-time with the Rooftop Garden Project, I wrote my Master's thesis for a degree in Urban Planning on municipal strategies to encourage rooftop greening ("Making Rooftops Bloom: Strategies for encouraging rooftop greening in Montreal).

Located within, are examples of policies and programs related to food security, urban agriculture and rooftop greening from around the world but with a focus on North America. The purpose was to make recommendations to the City of Montreal for ways to increase rooftop greening.
