The Rooftop garden project will participate in the Eco-Fest on April 29 and 30 at St-Jean Berchmans Church (5945 Cartier, corner Rosemont). "L’ÉcoFest a pour but d’informer une population hétérogène sur les alternatives d’une consommation quotidienne plus écologique et qui vise la qualité de la santé. Durant ces journées de foire informative une quarantaine d'organismes du Québec tiendront des kiosques d’informations dans la salle principale pour présenter leurs produits et/ou services écologiques et santé, pendant la tenue de conférences sur des enjeux environnementaux, dans la salle adjacente. Un souper végétarien copieux sera offert gratuitement à tous afin de donner de l'énergie pour les spectacles de musique endiablée, les prestations de conteurs légendaires, les projections de documentaires engageants et les spectacles de cirques magiques qui suivront, séparés par un tournoi d’improvisation aux thématiques environnementales étalé sur les deux soirées." | ||

Vermicompost workshop for people who want to start compost at home! We will have a short visit to the vermicomposting room in the basement of Santropol Roulant. You will see the brand new colourful mural! Freshly painted! The vermicompost will help us transform all our kitchen waste so that it can be used in the garden.
